The LifeLong Learning trip team visits, assesses and selects the best opportunities for creating interesting and entertaining day trips in Phoenix and its surrounding areas.

Based on our experience, we have instituted the following policies to manage our trips and make sure that everyone on a trip has an enjoyable and educational experience.


NEW 2022 COVID POLICY added November 2021: Requirement for Vaccines and Masks

This season LifeLong Learning requires proof of vaccination and a photo ID for everyone on a trip.  Proof can be the CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card you received when you were vaccinated, a photocopy of the vaccination card, a photo of the card on an electronic device or the World Health Organization Card.  A photo ID can be a driver's license, a passport or other photo ID.  The photo ID must be presented at the same time as the proof of vaccination.

Masks must be worn on the bus and if required, by the venue.

Final registration is contingent upon attendee providing the required photo ID and proof of vaccination within 5 days of registering for a trip. Each attendee is required to email a copy of proof of vaccine and photo ID to Trip Director, Sue Roth.  If you have questions or need to make other arrangements, contact Sue at 612-940-4798 or This email address is being protected from spambots. The party to whom a spot is sold or gifted MUST provide proof of vaccination and a photo ID to the Trip Director at least 24 hours before the trip.

Options to consider when selling a ticket:  Contact Trip Director, Sue Roth. If there is a waitlist for the trip, someone on the list may wish to purchase your spot, or you can try to sell your spot on the eGroup.


While LifeLong Learning aims to accommodate everyone, some of the destinations may not be appropriate for those who have mobility challenges. The buses available to us can load and transport a wheelchair, but we must have ADVANCE NOTICE from passengers to order that service. Please let us know of your needs when you register. Passengers need to climb up several steps into the bus and climb down at each stop the bus makes. Members of our trip team have visited every destination and can advise you, in advance of your ticket purchase, about the venue and any physical challenges.

Anyone requiring assistance with accessing the bus or with walking MUST have a friend or relative on the trip who will be responsible for assistance. Bus drivers and LLL escorts will not be able to assist.

Your safety is our primary concern.


Please note your dietary issues when you register, and we will do our best to accommodate you. This MUST be discussed IN ADVANCE of the trip. Trip costs are negotiated based on volume pricing and additional fees may be necessary if food needs are not known before our arrival at the restaurant. If special requests are made at the restaurant, they may not be able to be honored and if they are, they will be filled AFTER the rest of the attendees have been served.  


Because LLL makes firm commitments in advance for transportation, venue and food services, LLL maintains a No Refund Policy for all events.  We maintain a waiting list for all our trips and will work with you to identify people who want to take your place, if you need to cancel. You will be reimbursed from them for using your space, if you make that arrangement. Please give us complete contact information about your replacement, so we can give them final information about the trip that they will attend.
