If you’ve ever wondered about the history of drones, prepare to be amazed. As the technology surrounding these unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has evolved, so have their uses. Today drones have a plethora of commercial, military and personal uses. In fact, while many of us have read reports of drones used in military operations or seen them flown recreationally, drones are widely utilized by realtors, law enforcement professionals, videographers and even some Amazon home deliveries!
Enhance your understanding of the fascinating history of drones, the variety of ways in which these technological marvels appear in our daily lives and learn how they may be utilized in the future. A brief flight demonstration will be included at the end of the session.
Instructor John Mullen, a Marine helicopter crew chief, teaches safe flying techniques to new pilots. He has undertaken considerable research into unmanned aerial vehicles and their gyro & stability systems. Today, he designs, builds and services commercial grade drones.
