New this year: E-book available

Once again, LifeLong Learning is proud to offer America's largest discussion program on world affairs: Great Decisions, an eight-week curriculum of the Foreign Policy Association.

Great Decisions focuses on different critical issues facing America. The program involves reading the Great Decisions briefing book, watching a DVD about the topic, and discussing the issues in a small group with other PebbleCreek residents. The program provides background information and policy options, while avoiding partisan politics. As always, the topics are timely and will generate lively discussion. They are:

  • GD20 CoverClimate Change and the Global Order
  • India and Pakistan
  • Red Sea Security
  • Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
  • U.S. Relations with the Northern Triangle
  • China's Road into Latin America
  • The Philippines and the U.S.
  • Artificial Intelligence and Data

This season, we are offering an early afternoon session on Tuesday.

Registration for the program is $20 per person. A printed book can be ordered for $35 or you can download an e-book for $12.95 when it becomes available (be sure to order the 2020 book.)
