Understand your camera better


This class is a series of three sessions that will take you through many of the concepts a beginning photographer needs to know. Each session depends on the previous one and you cannot take the second or third session unless you attend the first. There are no exceptions.

Session 1: Jan. 11 1-3 p.m.

Basic understanding of Aperture, Shutter, ISO & Exposure

Understanding Manual Exposure & Histograms

Session 2:  Jan. 18 1-3 p.m.

Understanding Aperture/Shutter/Manual Priority

Focusing Modes, Lenses, Depth of Field, RAW

Session 3: Jan 25 1-3 p.m.

Understanding Composition

Filters- When, How and Why to Use Them

Adriana Greisman is a PebbleCreek resident and president of the PebbleCreek Camera Club. She is a nature photographer who has won awards in competitions sponsored by the PebbleCreek Art Club, Phoenix Camera Club, Photographic Society of America, Nature's Best Photography Windland Smith Rice International Awards, Nature’s Best Photography National Parks Competition and North American Nature Photography Association Showcase.
