Cinema Society Returns for Fourth Season
The exciting world of film returns to PebbleCreek, Nov. 16.
Previous season pass holders begin the renewal process on Monday, Sept. 18 by bringing their hard card pass with them when they pay for the season. Membership is $110, paid by cash or check only, made out to PCHOA.
Sales for new memberships begin at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2, depending on availability.
All membership sales are at the Activities Office.
A typical Cinema Society program includes an introduction to the film being shown, the screening of a feature film which could be a premiere, classic, documentary and/or short subject, followed by a discussion.
The morning events typically include a guest speaker, a critic or occasionally an actor, director or studio representative involved with the film’s production. Speakers share their expertise and provide a forum to discuss various aspects of the movie.
Your membership includes private monthly screenings, transferable membership admission card with PebbleCreek lanyard (pass it on to others if you are unable to attend an event), socializing with fellow film lovers, informative discussions, monthly newsletters that preview upcoming films and hosted national and international film festival trips (for an additional fee). All films screen at 10 a.m. sharp in the Renaissance Theater.
Mark your calendar with the following reserved Thursday dates: Nov. 16, Dec. 14, Jan.25, Feb. 22, March 8, April 5.
Only season ticket holders may attend Cinema Society screenings. Guest passes for out-of-town, non-PebbleCreek residents may be purchased at the Activities Office or in the theater lobby for $20 prior to any showing.
Please note there will be a $5 replacement fee for any lost cards.
Seating is open on a first-come, first-served basis.
All memberships will be sold in the Activities Office for cash or check, made out to PCHOA.
