Do you have letters or other correspondence that you'd like to donate to The Legacy Project?

While you can bring your materials directly to the lecture (articles MUST have a donation form attached), you can also bring them to the LLL Center in advance of the Saturday, Oct. 27 Premier Lecture with Andrew Carroll, and LLL will present them to him at the lecture.

If you are not certain what kind of materials the Center seeks, Andrew  Carroll suggested this:

When it comes to what we're looking for, the answer is anything that is connected to the military; the letters do not have to only be combat letters by troops. We're interested in letters and emails by military family members, as well as letters that were written before war time (say, boot camp letters...) or after (e.g., some veterans look back on their experiences years or decades later while writing to a fellow veteran or family members). The point is, we're looking for anything that is in any way related to the military or war.

please see their FAQs.

The project prefers original materials but accepts photocopies. If you bring your material to the LLL Center we will make a photocopy for you.

The LLL Center is open from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday-Friday and also on Monday, Oct. 8. If you have questions please send them to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
