Choose from Five Great Decisions Seminars

Great Decisions is an eight-week discussion program that focuses on different critical issues facing America. Created by the Foreign Policy Association, the program involves reading the Great Decisions briefing book, watching a DVD about the topic, and discussing the issues in a small group with other PebbleCreek residents. The program provides background information and policy options while avoiding partisan politics.

This season the following subjects will be discussed?

  • The waning of Pax Americana?
  • Russia’s foreign policy
  • China and America: the new geopolitical equation
  • Media and foreign policy
  • Turkey: a partner in crisis
  • U.S. global engagement and the military
  • South Africa’s fragile democracy
  • Global health: progress and challenges
