Come join us on Thursday, April 17, for a special behind-the-scenes experience at Ballet Arizona! We’ll take you on an exclusive tour, visiting the costume shop, production areas, and even enjoying a movement experience. Then, you’ll have the unique opportunity to watch a class demonstration and rehearsal with the talented company dancers in the Dorrance Theatre.
Ballet Arizona’s mission is to ignite the human spirit through the magic of dance, making ballet accessible to everyone. Their dedication to dance education, expanding facilities, and offering diverse programming ensures that ballet resonates with audiences across Arizona.
Through initiatives like Ballet Under the Stars, educational outreach in schools, and collaboration with local organizations like Child Crisis Arizona, they make ballet accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. These programs provide opportunities for individuals to experience the beauty of dance, regardless of their circumstances, and help foster a sense of belonging and connection within our community. By bringing dance into schools, community centers, and parks, they create spaces where creativity can flourish, encourage personal growth, and support physical and emotional well-being. Above all, they are motivated by the belief that dance can inspire, uplift, and unite people across all walks of life.
Afterward, we'll head over to China Chili for a delicious family-style lunch, featuring a variety of mouthwatering options. They pride themselves on their authentic and award winning cuisine which includes a unique variety of dishes in Cantonese, Szechuan and Hong Kong styles.
