On Tuesday, Feb.18, join the LLL trip team for an entertaining visit to the MIM. Because of the very positive reviews of last year's MIM tour we are offering another trip! Enjoy the MIM without the worries of driving there, especially if you have a glass of wine at lunch. As this trip sold out quickly last year, please do not hesitate to sign up now.
This year you will have two different ways to enjoy your visit for the same price. The MIM is the world’s only global musical instrument museum, with exhibits featuring musical heritage, cultures, and instruments from more than two hundred countries and where you can watch videos and listen to music by iconic performers in different genres, including country, jazz, pop, classical, and more. Be engaged and get ready for a memorable visit.
The LLL tours begin at time of arrival at the MIM. We will split into 2 groups.
Lunch is on our own for both tours, please see information below.
Tour 1: Three special tours are included:
- A special VIP behind the scenes tour
- A Private Guided Tour highlighting the history of music including videos from the USA and England
- A ticket to their special exhibit “Stradivarius and the Golden Age of Violins and Guitars”.
There will also be free time for you to further explore the Orientation Gallery, the Artist gallery and the Mechanical Music Gallery. Oh, and their tax-free gift shop!
Tour 2: Many of our previous tour attendees asked for more time on their own. So, this tour has been designed for you in mind!
- A special VIP behind the scenes Tour
- A ticket to their special exhibit “Stradivarius and the Golden Age of Violins and Guitars”.
- The rest of the day is on your own to explore the MIM.
Lunch is on your own at the MIM and not included in the price of the trip.
- MIM's Café Allegro features a rotating menu of delicious global cuisine for lunch. Guests can choose from a variety of fresh entrées, salads, soups, and grill items showcasing local produce and flavors from around the world.
- Beats Coffee Bar® features a full menu of specialty roasted coffee, espresso, and tea drinks, along with pastries and other breakfast offerings, grab-and-go lunch options, wine, beer, and other seasonal treats.
