Doug AdairOn Friday, Feb. 7, 1 p.m., Doug Adair will present an informative class on the details of buying, owning and maintaining a golf cart. Living in PebbleCreek you’re likely to own or have considered purchasing a golf cart. Adair’s class will present an excellent overview of the ownership options and requirements.

What You’ll Learn:

Golf Cart Basics 101: Learn about battery type, registration, insurance, title vs. non titled and licensed vs. non-licensed vehicles.

Charging and maintenance: Doug will discuss the various battery-types (lead acid, AGM, Lithium) and their charging, maintenance requirements and expected life.

Summer/extended Absence: Learn how to prep your vehicle for summer and extended absences.

Other maintenance Issues: Review what needs to be done to keep your golf cart in top running condition.

Doug Adair has spent the past two years as owner of a small PebbleCreek company specializing in converting golf carts to Lithium batteries and performing cart electrical repairs. Doug worked for 6 years  as a nuclear power plant machinist for the US Navy and has an additional 32 years working as an engineer in utility power generation for companies such as APS and Salt River Project.
