Do you have lots of lemons decorating your kitchen island? This class by Joann Fioretti on Friday, Feb. 21, 1 p.m., could be the answer to delighting your household and perhaps neighbors or the card club by making your own fresh lemon meringue pies.
If you are not familiar with making a flaky, oil-based crust, this class is essential. Maybe you have shied away from making a meringue pie altogether. You will be surprised how Fioretti makes this an easy go-to pie for the lemon season. Pie tasting included.
Fioretti grew up cooking and baking with her mother, but she refined her craft cooking with her husband Gene. They both teach popular classes for LLL warmly welcoming students into their home and kitchen.
