Event sold out - waitlist registration is open
On Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1 p.m., popular magician-mentalist Bruce Kundin will share a journey of wonder and astonishment with a guided tour into the mysteries of mentalism and magic using a deck of cards.
Magic uses sleight of hand, misdirection and theatrical trickery to create visual illusions that cause the audience to believe one thing while something else is happening. A slightly different concept is that of mentalism, which expands and manipulates a viewers’ sense of reality with psychology, suggestion and influence.
A master of both, Kundin has performed for several clubs in PebbleCreek, as well as at the Hat and Hare Pub, the Cellar Theater of the Hollywood Magic Castle, the Spellbound Magic Show in Ventura, CA, and the House of Magic Foundation for the Arts, among others.
Kundin is a member of the Society of American Magicians, Arizona Assembly 248; the Phoenix Ring 55 of the International Brotherhood of Magicians; and the Elders, a southern California group of mentalists. He has received the Order of Merlin from the Society of American Magicians and has created a number of magical effects and tricks that are currently in use.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a deck of playing cards.
