Join Julia Kim on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 11 a.m., who will offer a hands-on class on how to create delicious and versatile Korean Kimbap.
Kimbap is a popular Korean dish made of rice and various fillings rolled in sheets of seaweed (kim). Kim is like sushi but typically features cooked ingredients rather than raw fish. Discover the history and cultural significance of this beloved Korean food. You will learn how to prep ingredients, rolling techniques and creative variation.
All ingredients and tools will be provided. At the end of the class, you will be to able to enjoy the Kimbap you made and take home recipes to impress your friends and family. Join us for a fun and delicious culinary experience and leave with the skills to create your own Kimbap at home!
Julia has over 20 years of experience through the International Youth Fellowship, including teaching Korean cooking to Native American youth, Julia will share ancient culinary wisdom passed down for generations.
